Ministry

Our Ministry

To glorify God in all that we do by Introducing others to God who don’t know Him, Helping those who already know Him to know Him better, and Sharing God’s love and mercy to those in need. This is the Mission Statement for the Ministry Team.

As part of this mission, members of our Ministry Team and any others who desire to take part meet at BNE each morning at 7:30 am for a short devotion, to pray for those in need as well as give thanks. In response to requests from those who could not attend at 7:30 am, the Friday team meeting is held at 12:15 pm which gives those unable to make the morning meetings an opportunity to participate.

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

The holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

“Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”—But nothing unclean will ever enter it.—There is no flaw in you.

“You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.”— As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile.—Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and… be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and… put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.—He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

Hebrews 12:14

“Gold refined by fire.”

“There is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.”

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.—Now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.—“In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Revelation 3:18

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

Mark 10:29

Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel,

Mark 10:30
