Construction of new Hardee’s restaurant in Washington, NC underway

WASHINGTON, NC (June 15, 2012) – A new Hardee’s restaurant in Washington is under construction at 2427 West 5th Street (U.S. 264).  The restaurant is owned by North Carolina Hardee’s franchise operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises and is the second location in town.

The restaurant is currently scheduled to open in mid to late July and will employ 50 people.

In addition to the Hardee’s menu that is built around well-known Made-from-Scratch™ breakfast biscuits, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders™ and charbroiled Black Angus Beef Thickburgers®, this location will also feature fried chicken.

Seating up to 69 diners, the new Hardee’s in Washington has a distinctive look, featuring the new “retro” restaurant design.

“We appreciate the support of our customers in the Washington area over the years and are excited to bring an all new Hardee’s to the community,” said Mike Boddie, President, Restaurant Division, Boddie-Noell.  “The new restaurant is designed to provide the best possible service both inside and at drive-thru.  We feel we’ve hit on a very attractive exterior and we know our customers will appreciate our inviting, upbeat dining room.”

Operating hours for the new Hardee’s will be from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

This newest location will be the 335th Hardee’s operated by Boddie-Noell which is based in Rocky Mount, N.C.
