Opening Celebration Includes Free Thickburgers for a Year and Breakfast for Early Birds
CARTHAGE, N.C. (Jan. 25, 2016) – The opening of the new Hardee’s® of Carthage kicked off today with planned promotional activities this coming weekend including the opportunity for early risers to win free Thickburgers® for a year. The new Hardee’s at 1018 Monroe St. opened today promptly at 5 a.m.
In conjunction with radio station WLHC 103.1, the first 103 people in line at opening this Saturday will receive free Thickburgers for a year (coupons for one a week). Those first guests also will get a free Made From ScratchTM Sausage Biscuit and a beverage that morning.
On Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., WLHC will be on site promoting the Saturday morning giveaway for early risers. Guests can enjoy a prize wheel giveaway with coupons for free products, Hardee’s logo items and Hardee’s gift cards.
The new Hardee’s (which actually replaces an older Hardee’s in the same spot that was demolished to make way for the new one) will employ 55 to 60 people, according to Hardee’s franchise operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises. The company now operates 132 Hardee’s locations throughout North Carolina including several in the surrounding region.
In addition to a menu that is built around the famous Made From Scratch Biscuits, charbroiled 100% Black Angus Beef Thickburgers and Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM, the new Hardee’s location also features the chain’s fresh-baked buns for the full selection of 1/3-pound and larger Thickburgers.
Seating up to 47 guests, the new restaurant has a distinctive look with the latest “retro” Hardee’s restaurant design and includes a flatscreen TV in the dining area. The restaurant also has drive-thru service.

Operating hours for the Hardee’s are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
This newest location will be the 338th Hardee’s operated by Boddie-Noell, which has been a Hardee’s franchise operator for more than 50 years and is the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the United States.
