ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (Dec. 17, 2014) – Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce changes in job responsibilities of several members of its senior leadership team, the company announced today.
William L. Boddie, Sr., has been appointed Vice Chairman. Currently Chief Executive Officer of the company, he will continue to oversee the company’s business and also assist with company board meetings and other aspects of the business, according to company Chairman Mayo Boddie, Sr.
Michael W. Boddie, currently president of Restaurant Operations, has been appointed President of Boddie-Noell Enterprises and will assume some of the duties held by William L. Boddie, Sr. The brothers will work closely during the first couple of years to ensure a smooth transition and effective cross-training of responsibilities.
Terry A. Lewis, currently Chief Operating Officer of the company’s Hardee’s Restaurant Operations division, has been appointed President of Hardee’s Restaurant Operations. Lewis began his career with Boddie-Noell as a crew member in the Roxboro, NC, Hardee’s in the early 1970s and progressively rose through the ranks of the company’s Hardee’s operations. He is responsible for all of Boddie-Noell Enterprises’ 334 Hardee’s locations and all full and part-time restaurant employees and management staff in his new role.
W. Craig Worthy, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed Executive Vice President and will also remain as CFO. Worthy, who began his career with Boddie-Noell in 1979, serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and holds a seat on Boddie-Noell’s Board of Directors. He received his MBA from the University of Virginia and his Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina.
Mayo Boddie, Sr., said the new appointments are aimed at positioning the company for future growth and “to reinforce the structure of the company and to strengthen its leadership and direction.” Boddie added, “I am so very proud of the team we have in place here at Boddie-Noell.
