Hardee’s General Managers and District Managers Receive Boddie-Noell’s Founders Award

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (March 5, 2019) – Ten Hardee’s restaurant general managers and two district managers have received the top recognition Boddie-Noell Enterprises bestows annually to restaurant managers. The Founders Award  is given annually by the nation’s largest Hardee’s franchise operator to recognize the performance of the selected employees.

The individuals and restaurants represent the best among the 347 Hardee’s restaurants operated by the company across four states. The winners were selected on an established set of criteria for operational excellence in 2018. The annual award is given in honor of the company’s three founders, Mayo Boddie, Sr., the late Nicholas Boddie, Jr. and the late W. Carleton Noell, who opened Boddie-Noell’s first Hardee’s in 1962.

The annual recognition and celebration of the winners was held at the company’s Rose Hill Conference Center near Nashville, N.C. Winning general managers received a cash award and a plaque. Gifts were also awarded earlier to their restaurant teams for their 2018 performance.

The 2018 Founders Award winners are: general manager Bennett Weinstein of the Hardee’s® at 5900 High St. W in Portsmouth, VA.; general manager Darline Cole with the Hardee’s in Hertford, N.C.; senior general manager Jackie Scott with the Hardee’s in Suffolk, VA.; general manager Valerie Baker with the Hardee’s in Camden, N.C., general manager Jeffrey Mitchell and senior general manager Jennifer Osborne with the Hardee’s in Northwest-Leland, N.C., general manager Sheena Finney with the Hardee’s located at Harbour Pointe in Midlothian, VA.: general manager Chanell Patrick with the Hardee’s on Alston Avenue in Durham, N.C., general manager Vegena Royster with the Hardee’s on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh, N.C., general manager Sherrica Boney with the Hardee’s in Wallace, N.C. and general manager Conda Edwards with the Hardee’s in Clintwood, VA. The two winning district managers are senior district manager Robin Wilson and senior district manager Johnny Ramsey.
