Virginia Beach Restaurant Receives National Operational Excellence Franchisee Award
ST. LOUIS, MO. (June 21, 2013) – A Hardee’s restaurant at 305 Dorset Ave. in Virginia Beach, VA. operated by franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises has received the 2012 Operational Excellence Award, one of only two given nationally this year to franchisees by CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc., parent company to the Carl’s Jr.® and Hardee’s® restaurant chains.
The award was presented to Boddie-Noell at the company’s annual franchisee conference.
The Operations Excellence Award is based on three specific guidelines: an individual restaurant’s performance on platinum quality assurance audits, its score on an operational assessment and one or less guest complaints per month for the year.
“We’re extremely proud of this award and the great job General Manager Loretta Wilson and her team at this Hardee’s location did in earning this special distinction,” said Mike Boddie, President of Boddie-Noell’s Restaurant Division. Boddie and Terry Lewis, Boddie-Noell’s Vice President of Operations, as they received the award from Steve Evans, vice president of franchise operations. Boddie-Noell operates about 180 Hardee’s locations throughout Virginia.
