HIGHLAND SPRINGS, VA. (MAY 24, 2016) – The reopening of the completely renovated Hardee’s® of Nine Mile Road is today with a celebration that includes the daily selection of a radio listener who will win free Hardee’s menu items for a year.
The Hardee’s at 1120 East Nine Mile Road has been closed for the remodeling since March, but the restaurant now features a renovated and appealing new look and expanded seating. It is the first Hardee’s location operated by franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises that uses the latest contemporary restaurant design created by Hardee’s. The color scheme, all the finishes and the décor have been updated including the addition of a digital menu board inside. The restaurant now seats 80 guests.
In conjunction with radio station WKHK-FM K95, during this week and next, one listener each weekday will be announced to win the free menu item for a year and a pair of tickets to the K95 CountryFest. The first week (May 23-27) the selected weekday winner will win free Thickburgers® for a year (one a week) along with the K95 CountryFest tickets. The second week (May 30-June 3) the weekday winners will win free Made From ScratchTM biscuits and Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM (one a week) for a year along with the CountryFest tickets.
The winners will be announced during the weekday K95 morning show at about 7:45 a.m. each weekday.
The reopened Hardee’s continues to employ 55 to 60 people, according to operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises. The company operates a number of other Hardee’s locations in the region and has about 180 locations throughout Virginia.
In addition to a virtually new restaurant that is built around the famous Made From Scratch Biscuits, charbroiled 100% Black Angus Beef Thickburgers and Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders, the reopened Hardee’s location continues to feature the chain’s fresh-baked buns for the full selection of 1/3-pound and larger Thickburgers.
“We’re really excited to be reopened on Nine Mile Road with a unique new look at this location,” said Mike Boddie, president of Boddie-Noell. “As a family owned company, we look forward to staying involved as a presence in Henrico County and to supporting the growth of the area.”
