Newest Hardee’s Restaurant Location Opens Feb. 19 in Rocky Mount, N.C.

First New Hardee’s in Rocky Mount in Decades and First Built Here by Boddie-Noell

Includes 50-cent Sausage Biscuit for Area Customers

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (Feb. 19, 2018) – A celebration that includes a 50-cent Sausage Biscuit special for Rocky Mount-area Hardee’s customers will be a part of the activities to launch the newest Hardee’s restaurant opening in Rocky Mount on Monday, Feb. 19.

The opening of the new Hardee’s at 4891 Sunset Ave. (near Old Carriage Road and  Nash Community College) is the first opening of a new Hardee’s location in Rocky Mount in at least three decades. It’s also the first-ever Hardee’s location in Rocky Mount built specifically by longtime franchise operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises. The company’s existing Hardee’s locations in Rocky Mount were purchased by Boddie-Noell from Hardee’s parent company in 2007.

Starting on Monday and continuing through March 5, the 50-cent Sausage Biscuit special at all Rocky Mount-area Hardee’s is a thank-you to the city and surrounding area as hometown to Boddie-Noell. The participating Hardee’s locations also include Nashville, Enfield, Sharpsburg and Gold Rock.

As part of opening festivities, on Friday, Feb. 23, three local radio stations (WDWG, WPWZ, WZAX) will have live on-site broadcasts with the opportunity to win prizes such as free food coupons and Hardee’s logo items. WZAX will be on-site from 6-11 a.m. and WDWG and WPWZ will be on-site from 6-8 p.m.

The launch of the new restaurant is also coinciding with the introduction by Hardee’s of its new Charbroiled Sliders starting at $1. Boddie-Noell is also pointing out to students at the nearby NashCommunity College and two high schools, that with its Student ID promotion, students can get a free small fry and small drink with the purchase of any Thickburger®.

The restaurant’s opening kicks off bright and early on Feb. 19 promptly at 5 a.m. The newest location will be open seven days a week and includes drive-thru service. It will offer hungry diners the famous Hardee’s Made From ScratchTM Breakfast Biscuits, a delicious range of Black Angus charbroiled Thickburgers®, tasty Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM and much more.

The new Hardee’s location employs about 55 people plus several managers, according to Boddie-Noell. The company will now operate 10 Hardee’s locations in Rocky Mount and the surrounding area. It will be one of about 140 Hardee’s locations across North Carolina and among 342 restaurant locations operated by Boddie-Noell across four states.

Seating up to 70 guests, this Hardee’s has a distinctive look with the latest “retro” Hardee’s restaurant design and a digital menu board in the counter area. The restaurant will also feature free wi-fi service.

“We’re really excited to bring this newest Hardee’s location to Rocky Mount and especially with it being the first one we’ve ever built right here,” said Mike Boddie, president of Boddie-Noell Enterprises. “As a family-owned, hometown company, we look forward to being even more of a presence in our community and supporting the growth of the Rocky Mount area.”

Operating hours for the Hardee’s are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
