ROCKY MOUNT, NC (May 17, 2012) – Six Hardee’s® restaurants owned and operated by franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises earned the 2012 Restaurant Operational Excellence Award from Hardee’s Food Systems for outstanding performance over the past year.
In doing so, these six Hardee’s locations were among only 11 Hardee’s franchise restaurants across the U.S. to receive the award. One of Boddie-Noell’s winning restaurants is located in Burlington and the other five are in Virginia.
The Operational Excellence Award is based on three specific guidelines: an individual restaurant’s performance on quality assurance audits, its score on an operational assessment and no more than one guest complaint.
“We’re extremely proud of these six Hardee’s locations that received this national award because they are top achievers,” said Terry Lewis, vice president of operations for Boddie-Noell’s Hardee’s restaurant division. “These awards reflect team spirit and commitment of our employees each day in these locations.”
Boddie-Noell is the largest Hardee’s franchise operator in the U.S. and is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2012.
The awards were presented at a special awards banquet for Hardee’s franchise operators held recently in St. Louis.
