ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (April 26, 2011) – Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. presented its annual Carleton Noell Achievers awards to 10 Hardee’s restaurant general managers and two district managers.
The Carleton Noell Achievers award is the top operational award given by Boddie-Noell, the nation’s largest Hardee’s franchise operator.
The recognition of the annual Carleton Noell winners was held at the company’s Rose Hill Conference Center near Nashville, N.C. Each recipient received a gift card, a personal plaque and a plaque to be displayed in the restaurant.
The award-winning individuals and restaurants represent the best among the 335 Hardee’s restaurants operated by the company across four states. The winners were selected on an established set of objectives for operational excellence in 2010. The annual award is named for the late W. Carleton Noell, one of the founders of Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. which opened its first Hardee’s in 1962.
“Carleton Noell was the best at what he did and we honor his name by recognizing the best, our Carleton Noell Achievers,’” Terry Lewis, vice president of operations for Boddie-Noell’s Hardee’s division, told those gathered at the recognition event. “They perform a variety of tasks each day while carrying out the values that are at the core of Boddie-Noell.”
District Managers Wayne Christensen of Bristol, Va. and Leo Grogan of Chester, Va. each won the Carleton Noell award for 2010 based on an established set of objectives for operational excellence.
