ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (March 31, 2022) – Boddie-Noell Enterprises, the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the country, recently named 10 Founders Award winners. The Founders Award is given annually to the company’s top restaurant general managers.
The individuals and restaurants represent the best among the 343 Hardee’s restaurants operated by the company across four states. The winners were selected on an established set of criteria for operational excellence in 2021. The annual award is given in honor of the company’s three founders, Mayo Boddie, Sr., the late Nicholas Boddie, Jr. and the late W. Carleton Noell, who opened Boddie-Noell’s first Hardee’s in 1962.
The annual recognition and celebration of the winners was held at the company’s Rose Hill Conference Center near Nashville, N.C. Winning general managers received a cash award and a plaque. Gifts were also awarded earlier to their restaurant teams for their 2021 performance.
The Founders Award winners are: general manager Jamie Hedrick with the Hardee’s in Grandy, N.C., general manager Linda Watkins with the Hardee’s in Madison, N.C., general manager Sheena Finney with the Hardee’s on Boydton Plank Road in Petersburg, Va., general manager Patricia Neill with the Hardee’s in Lincolnton, N.C., general manager Juanita Tennessee with the Hardee’s on Julian Allsbrook Highway in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., general manager Jekita Smith with the Hardee’s on Chapel Hill Road in Durham, N.C., general manager Mary Sheely with the Hardee’s on Dale Earnhardt Boulevard in Kannapolis, N.C., general manager Sharyn Black-Tyler with the Hardee’s on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh, N.C., general manager Janetta Holden with the Hardee’s on Electric Road in Salem, Va. and general manager Sabrina Plummer with the Hardee’s on Lakeside Avenue in Richmond, Va.
